JVMU

The Java Virtual Memory Unit is an applet that can display uncompressed (.LCD) and compressed (.VMS and .VMI+) animations created for the Sega Dreamcast VMU.

JVMU animator 6.1
written with notepad and JDK 1.1.6/7
Reads and displays the data from .LCD and .VMI/.VMS combos.
The resulting Dreamcast VMU animation can be controled and the color changed via javascript, additional animations can also be loaded.

How To Use:

  • Download package.zip (92KB)
  • Unzip with a compression utility.
  • You can download the VMU Animator and selected animations at LevelSix
