Closing quotes

When drawing a class diagram start simple:
- classes,
- associations,
- attributes,
- and generalization.
Understand the perspective and your role when drawing the diagrams. During analysis, a conceptual model would be needed. When writing or generating code from the model, a specification-based model is more appropriate.
On the same note, models for everything are usually not really needed and capturing implementation details too early is unnecessary.
